CVSD has partnered with The Nutrition Group, a food service management company which manages the District's food service department.  The Nutrition Group provides a variety of nutritious school meals to all our students.  The well-being of our students is a top priority, and we believe that proper nutrition is essential for good health and readiness to learn.  For more information about the Nutrition Group, click the graphic below.

MenusDetailed breakfast and lunch menus for each CVSD school are available through The Nutrition Group's program, Nutrislice.  Click the graphic below to access a calendar of menus updated monthly.  In the best interest of student wellness, students are required to take certain items to make up a well-balanced lunch.  Click here for more information about what makes up a meal.

Meal Prices

Breakfast cost is $1.65 for all students.  Lunch cost is $2.80 for Primary and Intermediate School students and $3.05 for Middle and High School students.

Free and Reduced MealsFree or reduced price meals are available to students who qualify under state guidelines which take family size and household income into consideration.  Reduced prices are $0.40 for lunch and $0.30 for breakfast.  Applications are available below or by visiting any school office.  Parents may also apply online at www.schoolcafe.com.

Summer Feeding Program
Although CVSD does not offer a summer feeding program, there are opportunities in the region to access free food during the summer months. Click here for a link to the Greater Pittsburgh Area Food Bank where you can search by zip code to find summer feeding programs in your area.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
