CVSD has partnered with The Nutrition Group, a food service management company which manages the District's food service department.  The Nutrition Group provides a variety of nutritious school meals to all our students.  The well-being of our students is a top priority, and we believe that proper nutrition is essential for good health and readiness to learn.  For more information about the Nutrition Group, click the graphic below.

Procedures for Food Service on Remote Learning Days

All Chartiers Valley students, whether enrolled in Hybrid or CV Cyber Academy, will have the opportunity to purchase daily breakfast and lunch. Free and reduced-price meals will be provided at no/low cost to families who qualify. On in-person days, Hybrid students will purchase meals as usual, in the cafeteria. In order to minimize contact, CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED in the cafeteria. Please add funds via the SchoolCafe app or send a check to school with your student to be collected in homeroom.

To order to-go meals for remote learning days, hybrid and CV Cyber Academy students must submit requests at least 24 hours in advance using the form linked below.

For all CV Cyber students, meal pick-up will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at the High School, near door #13.

Hybrid students who have pre-ordered to-go meals for remote learning days will pick up their meals from the cafeteria at the end of the in-person school day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (Primary students will have pre-ordered to-go meals delivered to their classrooms.) Hybrid students with last names beginning in A-K will pick up their to-go meals on Tuesdays. Hybrid students with last names beginning with L-Z will pick up their to-go meals on Thursdays.

THIS WEEK ONLY - Students who are learning remotely on Monday and Tuesday, August 24 and 25 (all CV Cyber and L-Z Hybrid students) may schedule to pick up meals for the first two days of remote learning. This pick-up will be Friday, August 21 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at the High School, near door #13. 


  • When picking up meals, students and/or parents will need to provide their student's ID number. 
  • Meals are only provided to students who attend CVSD.
  • Orders must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Menus for to-go meals will be available for viewing on the District website, > Departments > Food Service. 
  • Complete one survey per student!

Meal Prices

Breakfast cost is $1.40 for all students.  Lunch cost is $2.35 for Primary and Intermediate School students and $2.60 for Middle and High School students.

Free and Reduced MealsThe District offers free or reduced price meals to students who qualify under state guidelines which take family size and household income into consideration.  Reduced prices are $0.40 for lunch and $0.30 for breakfast.  Applications are available below or by visiting any school office.  Parents may also apply online at
